Tabitha’s stunning Pitt Meadows Maternity session
Tabitha’s maternity session in Pitt Meadows was one of my favorites to date. This beautiful Mama was my last client before we began social isolation in March. The day of our session, the skies were clear and wind gusts reached up to 90 km/hr. Tabitha and her adorable son braved the freezing cold winds as they snuggled and played together like it was any other day. I absolutely love wind during a session. The way that it adds movement to hair or a flowy dress is so magical. I am so happy that I was able to capture these moments for Tabitha to cherish for years to come.
My approach to photography
The world has changed so much since this day. We now find ourselves surrounded by uncertainty and fear. I am reminded more than ever now, about the importance of appreciating the little moments and to celebrate life. For me, photography is about capturing those special moments, genuine emotion, love, and connection. When you look back at your images for years to come, I want you to remember how you felt in that moment. I want these images to be a reminder of a special time in your life, how your little one’s hand fit so perfectly in yours, and how your loved one’s touch made you feel. I want you to remember the love you felt in that moment. To me, photography isn’t about capturing a perfectly posed family portrait, it is about capturing the little details, the emotion, a moment in time.
Stunning Pitt Meadows location
Pitt Lake is one of my favorite locations. Surrounded by mountains and nestled at the base of Pitt Lake, this location encompasses all of the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. It also allows for a variety of backdrops within one location. From the untouched golden grasses, stunning lake views, to the beautiful snow capped peaks of the Golden Ears Mountains; Pitt Lake has it all. Whether you are looking for a maternity, family, or couples session, I highly suggest that you consider this Pitt Meadows location.
